If you’ve been reading our blogs for a while now, you’ll know that we’re very proud to be Australia’s only Islamic Superannuation Fund.

We often get asked how we are different from other avenues for investing for retirement and so we thought we’d highlight how Crescent Wealth is unique in the market.

If you are looking to move to an Islamic Superannuation Fund, we recommend you follow a simple 4-Step Checklist.

The steps include:

  1. Research – are they a Superannuation Fund? If you can’t find them on the Australian Taxation Office Super Search site they’re not a super fund
  2. Islamic Compliance – are they independently audited for Shariah compliance?
  3. Regulatory Approvals – do they meet all of the regulatory standards for Super Funds?
  4. Islamic Investing Specialist – do they have an investment board of Islamic Finance experts overseeing the strategy for investing your retirement savings?

Crescent Wealth meets all of these requirements and if you’d like to understand the difference, you can call us anytime on 1300 926 626 to clarify why these 4 requirements matter.

Crescent Wealth is a Licenced, Independent Superfund

We’re an Australian super fund and our focus is to invest in the best interest of our members. Our sole focus is on growing your retirement savings through a strong investment framework, guided by our Islamic principles.

This means you have the firm Australian regulatory framework behind your super investments, monitoring the compliance of your investments and our operations. We’ve invested significant resources to provide our members and community a real Islamic super fund. No shortcuts. No rebadging.

When choosing a superannuation fund, always make sure it’s indeed a superannuation fund. You can do this by looking them up in the Australian Taxation Office Super Search. If you can’t find your super fund on this Australian Government site, they’re not a super fund. It’s that simple.

As a Superfund, we are obligated to always act in the best interest of our members. Every decision we make is for the benefit of members, not ourselves.
