  • The Consumer segment includes a broad range of consumer health and personal care products in the beauty, baby, oral care and women’s health categories, as well as nutritional products and over-the-counter medicines and wellness and prevention. 
  • The Pharmaceutical segment focuses on unmet medical needs across several therapeutic areas such as oncology, infectious disease, immunology, neuroscience, cardiovascular and metabolism. 
  • The Medical Devices segment includes a broad range of products distributed to wholesalers, hospitals and retailers used principally in the professional fields by physicians, nurses, therapists, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and clinics.

JNJ is a strong corporate citizen, guided by three important pillars of corporate responsibility:

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues are important to JNJ and they have publicly disclosed many policies in their Health for Humanity Report, some of which include their policies on Animal Welfare, Climate Change, Community Impact, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Human Rights, and Sustainable Sourcing, Products and Packaging.

JNJ has made significant contributions to COVID-19 relief efforts, including the development of its single-dose vaccine and millions of dollars in donations to organizations globally. JNJ has a long history of giving back to society, driven by the company’s goal of changing the trajectory of health for humanity. Through its operational efforts in its three business segments and funding from the Johnson & Johnson Foundation, the company supports front-line health workers and creates programs and experiences for its employees to help community-based partners address healthcare shortages. JNJ also works with communities in times of crisis, working with international relief partners and local affiliates to provide critical health needs, donations and programs that help communities recover, rebuild and become more resilient.
