We can all change the world, let’s start with your super
Message from Crescent Wealth, Managing Director, Talal Yassine OAM
The financial year 2022 was dominated by several macroeconomic factors that have had a great influence on our everyday lives.
While we continue to adjust to ‘COVID-normal,’ we have done so amid interest rate hikes, inflationary pressures, supply chain disruptions and climate-related disasters. Yet still, we have persevered and members have enjoyed competitive returns higher than the industry average for FY 22.
We believe a significant reason for this result is that we remain committed to our investment strategy as one that is ethical and promotes Islamic investment principles by actively avoiding industries such as gambling, alcohol, tobacco, weaponry and interest-earning organisations.
We steadfastly remain focused on profitable, asset-based investments that contribute to the advancement of the community, and we continue to favour investing with like-minded companies providing solutions to key environmental, social and governance challenges.
